I don’t think I have personally updated this blog with news about myself in some time. I usually just blog about what my bands been up. I tend to keep myself busy, or at least what I think is busy. I’m growing very discontent with my current job situation. I work at a furniture store full time, and I’m the “Furniture Handler”. What exactly is a Furniture Handler? Do, I just “handle” furniture? No, I do EVERYTHING in the store that doesn’t involve selling, office/computer work. I clean everything, everyday. I do a fair deal of cleaning, it takes up most of day. My problem isn’t with the tasks my job presents, it’s the fact I wasn’t told I was going to be doing these types of “chores” when I excepted the job. I was pretty much told that my job would be to assist with pick-ups, build the furniture, and then move the selected furniture to it’s place in the floor plan. I had no idea I would be cleaning up after nine other people that don’t have the common sense to pick up after themselves in the least bit. They told me I’d be doing “light cleaning” which involved vacuming, dusting, and taking out the trash. Not scrubbing floors, scrubbing bathrooms, being out in 95 degree heat on a fourteen foot ladder changing light bulbs that don’t need to be changed because THEY ARE NOT OUT. Most people changed light bulbs when they are fucking out, not whenever you want to. That’s being wasteful, and fucking retarded. It also looks like the company is a sinking ship, and I better learn how to swim. So, I’m thinking a job change might be the best bet. But, it does really suck when you like who you work with, just not the work.
I’ve been playing my 360 a little more then usual, Gears of War is a tight game, I’ve also been playing Def Jam: Icon a fair deal. Def jam isn’t what the first ones were in terms of gameplay, but the game is still really enjoyable, it’s more relalistic you can’t pick someone up break their neck in three place and then they come back and whoop your ass, it’s more like street fighting.
I’m going away for a wedding at the end of this week with Ashley. One of her friends is getting married in West Chester, I’m looking forward to it. The Groom’s sister played in high school marching band with me, it will be interesting to see her. I’m booking shows for the band. I want to play out more, it’s the most fun I’ve had in awhile.

The band is playing at Fletcher’s in Fells Point tonight, doors @ 8. I’m excited as hell.

The boys and I will be rocking a short set to test some new material at the 8×10 open mic. 8×10 is right at Cross st in Federal Hill.
